Cases may settle at anytime during a lawsuit, even up to the moment before a jury renders a verdict. However it is our experience that the majority of cases do not settle until they reach the courthouse steps. Therefore it is important to complete the initial processing of these cases as quickly as possible to reach a disposition as soon as possible. This also enhances the value of the case. While the court calendars vary in all the different counties, we move our clients cases through the system as quickly as possible and our results reflect this.

We welcome inquiries by clients about their case. Our experienced staff of paralegals have all been with the firm between 16 and 22 years and, in most circumstances, can answer our client’s questions. If a client wishes to speak to the attorney handling the case, or any attorney in the firm, their calls are returned as soon as possible, usually the same day. Clients should be aware that all Personal Injury / Malpractice cases are handled on a contingency fee basis. The firm is compensated based upon a percentage of the net recovery on the matter. The Office of Court Administration of the State of New York prescribes this percentage.
